Part-time Virtual Production Operator / Studio Technician

SpeakerBee is looking for a technically curious and dependable person to support and gradually take ownership of our day-to-day virtual production operations.

We work with greenscreen-based virtual production using Aximmetry and Unreal Engine, combining cameras, lighting, real-time graphics and compositing in a commercial studio environment.

You do not need to be an expert in every part of the pipeline before joining. We are happy to provide training. What matters most is that you are reliable, attentive and interested in becoming genuinely good at running productions.

Your responsibilities

  • Preparing, operating and resetting the virtual production studio

  • Setting up cameras, lighting and greenscreen environments

  • Learning and operating Aximmetry during productions

  • Operating existing Unreal Engine scenes

  • Real-time keying and compositing

  • Post-production compositing and delivery

  • Basic color correction, shot matching and color grading

  • Testing equipment and completing pre-production checks

  • Maintaining an organized studio, equipment inventory and project structure

  • Troubleshooting technical problems and communicating issues early

  • Supporting conventional recordings and occasional remote productions when needed

We are looking for someone who

  • Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion

  • Is punctual, dependable and communicates clearly

  • Has strong attention to visual and technical detail

  • Remains calm and methodical during live productions

  • Is comfortable following established workflows and quality standards

  • Enjoys practical, hands-on studio work

  • Checks their own work before considering it finished

  • Can receive feedback and gradually work more independently

  • Is available to work on-site in Copenhagen

Production times can vary, and occasional off-site, evening or weekend work may occur. These assignments will be planned and agreed upon in advance.

Relevant experience

Experience in one or more of the following would be helpful:

  • Cameras, lighting or greenscreen production

  • Live video, broadcast or streaming

  • Aximmetry or another real-time graphics platform

  • Unreal Engine

  • DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar software

  • Compositing, color correction or color grading

  • General audiovisual and PC troubleshooting

A good eye for exposure, white balance, color consistency, framing and image quality is a strong advantage.

The role

This is a hands-on studio production role. Curiosity about emerging tools is welcome, but the day-to-day focus is on keeping productions technically reliable, visually consistent and ready to deliver.

What we offer

  • Practical experience in a functioning commercial virtual production studio

  • Training in Aximmetry and our greenscreen production pipeline

  • Real responsibility on client productions

  • Experience with Unreal Engine, compositing and emerging production technologies

  • The opportunity to develop from assisted studio work into independent production ownership

  • A collaborative environment where reliability and good visual judgment matter

  • A competitive hourly salary rate
