Alternative Finance & Monitoring, part of Danske Bank Asset Management Operations, carries out controlling, valuations and reporting tasks of alternative investments while continuously focusing on optimising associated workflows and processes.

Our team handles a significant part of the value chain for our funds and alternative investments. Our team manages approximately 180 investments across various products. We collaborate extensively with other teams across Danske Bank, maintaining many points of contact with, among others, Portfolio Managers, Private Banking, Danske Invest and Danske Private Equity.
In the role of Fund Controller, you will work closely with your colleagues in the team and take responsibility for selected managed investment funds. You will have the opportunity to plan and structure your workday, ensuring that no two days are the same. Our funds invest in, among other areas, infrastructure, private equity, private debt and venture. The role offers you the chance to take responsibility for a wide range of tasks, including:
- Challenging and preparing valuations of investment funds and co-investments
- Optimization and development of the value chain and tasks
- Participation in projects across the bank
- Reporting to external investors, including quarterly and annual accounts
- Internal reporting and performance analyses
- Cash management with external funds and investors
- Annual and ongoing tax reporting
Valuation skills and an interest in the alternative investment universe
We are looking for someone with a strong skillset around valuation of alternative investments, a flair for accounting and a key interest in the alternative investment area. You take an analytical approach, work in a structured and results-oriented manner, and enjoy developing yourself and optimising your tasks. You are proactive and possess strong communication skills.
We are looking for a candidate with several years of relevant work experience, that wants to join us in the journey of creating the best operational set up for alternative investments. We expect that you have experience in similar controller functions, with alternative investments or valuations hereof. It is an advantage if you have experience within FIS Investran or SimCorp Dimension, but not a requirement
