Are you passionate about cooking, quality, and the efficient operation of a kitchen? Cafe Flottenheimer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen and ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience every day.

About the Role

As Executive Chef at Cafe Flottenheimer, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen, including hands-on cooking and coordinating kitchen activities. You will maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes according to the menu and quality standards

  • Manage daily kitchen operations and workflow

  • Plan menus and organize food preparation

  • Ensure compliance with Danish food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations

  • Order ingredients, manage inventory, and minimize waste

  • Supervise kitchen staff and foster effective teamwork

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position

  • Work in a professional kitchen environment

  • Working hours may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

  • Responsible for maintaining hygiene, safety, and operational standards at all times

  • Solid experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in a kitchen

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations
