FLC Marine is looking for a Project Engineer to contribute technical expertise and project management skills in the successful execution of marine construction activities, ensuring alignment with contractual, safety, and quality standards. Focused on delivering operational excellence through effective planning, stakeholder coordination, and hands-on execution
About FLC:
At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.
We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.
About the department:
Earthworks at Sea is responsible for all marine activities related to Trench Works, Gravel Works and Rock Works.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Operational Planning and Execution
Develop and manage detailed operational plans to ensure the efficient execution of project tasks.
Align operational activities with the project’s contract, plans, and budget requirements.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, primarily within the Marine Works Department, to ensure cohesive and effective project execution.
Project Engineering
Organize and optimize the day-to-day operations of the Protection Layer Pontoon
Ensure that project activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards (QHSE-S).
Preparae detailed working sequences including resources, calculations and design criteria.
Technical Expertise
Leverage operational experience with crane pontoons, long range excavators and similar marine construction tools.
Preparation of Work Method Statements, CAD drawings, technical notes, etc..
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within the marine construction and/or near/offshore industry
Understanding of marine operations, particularly in subsea or nearshore construction.
Excellent engineering skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Comprehensive knowledge of QHSE-S standards and their application in marine operations.
Effective communication skills, capable of managing various stakeholders and maintaining clear, concise reporting.
