About the position

As Logistic Manager, you will lead warehouse and shipping operations and support production of pet food products. You’ll ensure efficient processes, streamline processes, look for continuous improvements and uphold a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence across all warehouse functions with a close link to the separate shipping and logistics team.

Your key areas of responsibility:

  • Warehouse Operations

  • Shipping Management

Examples of tasks could include:

  • Develop and maintain robust inventory control systems aligned with production and distribution needs

  • Ensure strong OTIF performance across all shipments

  • Resolve logistical issues and maintain records to support continuous improvement

  • Explore opportunities with new transportation providers, including negotiation and contract formalization

In addition to the examples mentioned above, all warehouse activities must comply with applicable quality and safety standards, including OSHA, GMP, HACCP, FDA, as well as the requirements for pet food production.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in manufacturing (Experience in pet food or food manufacturing is a plus)

  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software (Experience with WMS preferred)

  • Familiar with EDI measures and their role in enhancing logistics efficiency

  • Fluency in English is required (Danish is a plus)
