We are a small, dedicated team producing high-quality, stoneground flours using traditional milling methods. Our focus is on quality, craftsmanship, sustainability, and care for the organic ingredients we mill. We’re looking for a Packing Assistant to help prepare our flours for sale and distribution to local bakeries, shops, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Weighing, bagging, and labeling freshly milled flours

  • Ensuring accurate orders and consistent packaging quality

  • Maintaining a clean, organized workspace in accordance with food safety standards

  • Assisting with inventory, stock rotation, and order preparation

  • Supporting the milling team as needed

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to perform light physical work and handle bags up to [e.g. 15kg]

  • Reliability and good time management

  • Non-smoker (to maintain a food-safe, smoke-free work environment)

  • Previous experience in food production or packaging is an advantage, but not required—training will be provided

  • An interest in local food, sustainable agriculture, or traditional food production is a plus
