Your new role

We are looking for an experienced IT/OT Engineer to help design and build a robust architecture for material handling process in our Finished Product manufacturing suite. In this role, you’ll be part of capacity expansion projects, ensuring seamless integration across critical platforms like Warehouse Management systems and MES systems (SAP EWM, PAS-X) and production lines to drive efficient and aligned material flow.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Shape robust IT/OT architecture for the material handling process, spearheading Phase 1 for manual operations with a vision for Phase 2 automation and scalability.
  • Ensure seamless integration of key systems like SAP EWM, PAS-X, , sensor networks, and waste management by architecting and optimizing data flows and system connectivity.
  • Provide deep technical expertise—actively participating in cross-functional workshops, steering design decisions, and translating complex requirements into effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across production, IT, automation, QA/QC, and external partners, maintaining project oversight and communicating clearly to align deliverables and strategy.
  • Design for the future, ensuring solutions are scalable, flexible, and compliant—while staying ahead of trends in digital manufacturing and material handling innovation.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a new IT/OT Engineer who will enjoy working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Control Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT/OT systems engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing environments. While we are ideally seeking experienced professionals, we are also open to candidates with less experience who are eager to learn and grow—so if you’re passionate about technology and innovation, we encourage you to apply.
  • Hands-on experience with core systems like SAP EWM, PAS-X, and industrial sensor networks.
  • Knowledge of IT/OT protocols, system integration, data exchange between different IoT systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.

Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical or biotech) is highly desirable.
