Join our newly established area in Global Contract Manufacturing Devices and make a difference by effectively managing supplier relationships, collaborating with diverse stakeholders globally and ensuring the seamless production of high-quality device components.
Your new role
Your key focus will be ensuring the reliable production of high-quality device components with selected Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and suppliers. Managing operations through a "virtual plant" concept, you'll lead a cross-functional team of Novo Nordisk Subject Matter Experts. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Acting as the primary vendor responsible for operational performance reviews and business evaluations with selected CMOs and suppliers.
- Supporting daily operations to ensure timely product delivery, in collaboration with Logistics, Technical Operations and Quality Assurance stakeholders.
- Support change requests, resolving challenges, and safeguarding quality by participating in audits and reviews.
- Driving process improvements and following up on performance metrics with CMOs and suppliers.
- Identifying, sharing, and implementing changes and process improvements to foster efficient business and ensuring high performing suppliers.
Your skills and qualifications
We’re looking for an individual, experienced in working closely to production/manufacturing set-ups who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaboration across teams and cultures. Additionally, you need to bring with you:
- A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Chemistry or another relevant field.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in production set-ups in operations or supply chain management, or project management preferably within pharmaceutical or other regulated sectors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- A quality-focused mindset.
- Experience in devices manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

You enjoy working proactively in a dynamic environment, with many tasks to coordinate and execute, with changing priorities and strict deadlines. Finally, you possess good communication skills and a structured approach which allow you to gain engagement from both internal and external stakeholders.
Your new department
You’ll be part of the Operations department, within the in Global Contract Manufacturing Devices area, comprising a team of around 250 colleagues located across Hillerød and Hjørring and ensuring the supply of components produced by our worldwide suppliers as well as internal production to our global footprint of Novo Nordisk factories.
We are responsible for deliveries to world-wide customers in Finished Product Manufacturing sites where assembly of devices is conducted. Our priorities are to run efficient operations at our suppliers, meet our customer demands every day, while diligently working to drive costs down and being agile.
