Your new role
As QA Professional, you will together with dedicated colleagues, be responsible for Quality Assurance of materials within a variety of categories and suppliers.
The tasks are diverse as we have a lot of exciting projects in Novo Nordisk. This gives us a variety of challenges, and strong collaboration with all stakeholders is an essential key to success.

Your key activities include:

  • Evaluating, selecting, and approving new suppliers for raw materials, process aids, single use systems and excipients.
  • Defining and setting the correct requirements for suppliers, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
  • Negotiating and maintaining quality agreements with suppliers.
  • Participating in quality audit at suppliers worldwide, ensuring compliance to GMP and other regulations.

Approving change requests and supplier related deviations.

You will be working closely with global colleagues in quality control, regulatory affairs, purchasing/logistics, warehouse, consuming departments, and suppliers.
The role is currently located in Bagsværd, but please note that our department will be relocating to new office buildings in Taastrup by the beginning of 2026.


Your new department
Sourcing QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of Raw Materials and Packaging Materials going into all of Novo Nordisk’s marketed products. We are responsible for Quality Assurance of our suppliers who are located all over the world. Ensuring a high standard of incoming materials and involvement in investigations into quality issues using LEAN tools is part of our daily work.
In total, we are 80+ dedicated employees divided into 7 teams working closely together. We collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and global suppliers.

Your skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Hold a master’s degree within pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Have experience from either the pharmaceutical or food production industry.
  • Showcase a strong quality mindset, along with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Display fluency in both written and spoken English.


Experience in working in a project-oriented setting is an advantage, as well as experience with supplier management, auditing and knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, materials, or relevant production processes.
On a personal level, you are known for your positive mindset, flexibility and persistence and enjoy working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, where you can make clear prioritisations and take responsibility for customer requirements in many situations, including those where the solution is not obvious.
