Your new role

As a cLEAN Professional, you’ll step into a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you’ll work independently to support FPMSAT’s process optimization and problem-solving initiatives using the cLEAN framework.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support FPMSAT departments in addressing gaps to strategic targets and developing plans/projects through structured analysis (e.g., VSM, Systematic Problem Solving, or other cLEAN tools).
  • Coach and develop cLEAN competencies across the site, enabling teams and leaders to operate effectively using Lean principles.
  • Act as a stakeholder manager and internal consultant, understanding business needs/goals and solving them using the cLEAN framework.
  • Improve performance management board structures and ensure clear links to strategic direction and timely actions on identified issues.
  • Proactively adjust and prioritize efforts based on situational needs to maximize business results.
  • Collaborate closely with the CVP cLEAN Partner, ensuring alignment on strategy and goals while acting independently in day-to-day initiatives.

Business Support in FPMSAT is responsible for developing and facilitating cross-departmental processes, projects and products supporting the rest of the FPMSAT departments succeed with their projects and goals. This means we are a group of highly skilled and specialized people who help the business with optimizing processes, solving problems and make better decisions by applying our areas of expertise.

You’ll join a small, focused team consisting of three individuals: the CVP cLEAN Partner, a cLEAN Professional (you), and an intern. The team plays an integral role in FPMSAT, driving continuous improvement across the organization. Expect a lively, diverse, and ambitious work environment where collaboration and stakeholder engagement are key pillars of success.

Your skills & qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect you to bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably with a business or technical focus.
  • Proven experience with cLEAN methods and tools, preferably in Novo Nordisk and ideally with the cLEAN Supply System.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to narrow in on business needs, develop actionable solutions, and drive alignment across teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, with practical application experience being a big plus.
  • Robust analytical skills with proficiency in problem-solving methodologies and structured frameworks like A3, VSM, and KATA.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to act pragmatically, adjust frameworks to fit specific situations, and prioritize effectively to deliver maximum value.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
