Then join the Operations Management team at Novo Nordisk in Hjørring and play a vital role in managing our relationships with our Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to secure timely delivery of products that meet customer demand.
The Position
In your role in Operations Management for Global Contracting Manufacturing Devices Needles Supply, you will play a pivotal part in managing and enhancing our partnership with CMOs. Your role will include:
- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators in collaboration with the CMO, with an emphasis on ensuring a robust working relationship that promotes mutual growth.
- Creating new operational standards and methodologies to improve collaboration and to ensure that our projects transition seamlessly into operational phases.
- Engaging with various internal departments and coordinating complex activities will also be essential for facilitating effective communication and cooperation.
- Having an active role in projects with suppliers aimed at increasing capacity to ensure our operations can accommodate rising demands.
- Formulating and implementing procurement strategies to guarantee the timely and effective delivery of high-quality products from the CMOs.
- Furthermore, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and transformations within Novo Nordisk to lay a strong groundwork for future operational developments
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you must have:
- A relevant background or education corresponding to MSc or BSc within Engineering, Pharmacy, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management.
- A proven track record of successful supplier management, negotiation and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical skills and a technical, structured approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Travel Requirements
Expect approximately up to 10 weeks of travel per year to support CM and other operational needs.
About the department
You will be part of the Operations Management team with 12 dedicated and skilled colleagues who are responsible for our manufacturing and supply of pen needles.
The team is part of External Supply/Needles Supply which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk's pen needles including both internal and external production, quality assurance, and manufacturing development. We are organised in three departments and with more than 30 employees dedicated to ensuring the pen needle supply to Novo Nordisk.
