Your new role
As part of the Maintenance and Engineering department in Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) DK, your role as Associate Manager will be pivotal in leading a team of Technical Supporters, Ramp-Up Owners, and Engineering Specialists. You’ll focus on developing a highly motivated and engaged team while ensuring stable operations, optimizing processes, and meeting strategic production goals.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Team Leadership: Setting clear KPIs, fostering collaboration, and maintaining team well-being through inclusive leadership practices.
- Team Development: Implementing training plans to strengthen competencies and ensure team members can meet performance standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Identifying opportunities for workflow optimization and driving performance improvements to ensure stable operations and supply continuity.
- Safety & Sustainability: Promoting workplace safety and contributing to sustainability efforts through environmentally friendly practices and initiatives.
- Technical Ownership: Collaborating with engineers and technicians to maintain and repair assembly and packaging equipment, ensuring compliance with rigorous quality and regulatory standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with departments like Production, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to support technical projects, product ramp-ups, and drive operational innovations.
Your role will involve managing cross-functional collaborations, overseeing safety standards, and driving well-being initiatives, while building a culture of growth and continuous development within the team.
Your new department
In the Maintenance and Engineering department, we oversee the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of assembly and packaging processes. Located at our Kalundborg facility, the team excels in maintaining a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring operations run efficiently and effectively.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re seeking an Associate Manager who thrives in driving team leadership and operational improvement. You’ll bring with you:
- A degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, including GMP knowledge and familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development and growth.
- Proficiency in Lean methodologies and operational optimization.
- Strong communication skills in both Danish and English.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and balance priorities effectively.
You are skilled in fostering team motivation and collaboration, backed by excellent interpersonal skills. Your ability to cultivate innovative solutions and support cross-functional initiatives will be key to your success.
