The position
As our new Lead Project Controller, you will be responsible for managing financials within direct project execution of a large CAPEX project.
Your day-to-day areas of responsibilities will include:
- Developing, creating, monitoring, and executing cost controls
- Focusing on cost management, project resources, progress reports and forecasting
- Ensuring “house in order” regarding financial and accounting compliance
- Enhancing your business/finance/accounting knowledge with broad technical knowledge within pharmaceutical production, which will help you in your daily work
- Building a broad network in Novo Nordisk with regular contact with many different areas of the business to govern solutions within the projects
- Navigating a dynamic and sometimes hectic working environment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine you:
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Project Management, Business, or another related field
- Possess 3 to 5 years of practical cost controlling experience, preferable from large CAPEX projects
- Demonstrate broad knowledge in executing step-by-step cost controlling
- Have experience in creating and forecasting project budgets/cost
- Showcase fluency in both spoken and written English
Previous experience from working in a GMP regulated industry is a plus.
As a person, you are curious to learn and attentive to details. You are structured and work independently across a broad stakeholder landscape. Your organized approach allows you to maintain a broad overview while keeping an eye for the details. You have a natural flair for translating complex issues into clear, concise communication easily absorbed by upper management.

API IPO is a growing team supporting the largest construction projects across the API organisation. IPO consists of five teams where the culture is open, engaged, and curious. Presence on site in Kalundborg is expected 3 days/week.
