Your position
In your new position as IT Support Trainee, you will be a valuable member of our dedicated IT Support team, whose mission is to provide excellent support to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations for our organisation. Your primary workplace will be our Global Headquarters in Esbjerg. This full-time trainee position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the way we deliver support at Semco Maritime.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As an IT Support Trainee, you will work on many exciting IT support tasks, such as installing PCs, troubleshooting and guidance, providing software support for Office 365 and setting up various hardware for end-users. You will work with Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, AVD, CAD products, iPhones and much more.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • On-site IT support in collaboration with IT Service
  • Preparing IT equipment for users
  • Troubleshooting and configuration of IT equipment
  • Ensuring that the IT equipment in our meeting rooms functions smoothly


Your profile & qualifications
As a person, you are service-minded and enjoy having daily interactions with people from all walks of life. Your self-driven and proactive nature empowers you manage multiple tasks at the same time with ease, and you find it natural to take on responsibility.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you are:

  • Currently enrolled in the basic course for the IT Supporter education
  • Service-minded and able to provide good, easily understandable support
  • Great at working independently and taking initiative when needed
  • An excellent communicator and fluent in English
  • A positive individual with a service mindset and a spirit of curiosity
