The Position
As a Digital Strategy & Execution Lead, you will report to the Head of DSE within the Research & Early Development (R&ED) Strategy, Portfolio, Operations and Communications (SPOC) organisation. You will collaborate with a dynamic team and key stakeholders across the R&ED organisation and the Novo Nordisk value chain.
In this role, you will assist in the implementation of important digital projects, helping to support our senior leaders in advancing the R&ED organisation’s digital and AI goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the execution of data and AI projects across R&ED and specific units
- Collaborating with team members to ensure the successful delivery of digital initiatives
- Contributing to consistency and alignment in executing digital projects
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand and meet their data and AI needs
- Helping to integrate R&ED goals into daily work, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and improving processes
- Assisting in organising project teams, assigning tasks, and developing schedules to meet project milestones
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we look for you to:
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s in natural science (such as biology, chemistry, etc.) or in another relevant field
- Bring practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting, preferably with involvement in drug research & development or digital initiatives
- Showcase familiarity with developing and delivering digital strategies and projects
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, along with a proactive and independent work style
- Have solid communication skills in written and spoken English

About the department
You will be part of the DSE team within the R&ED SPOC organisation. Based at Novo Nordisk’s global headquarters, the DSE team plays a pivotal role in enabling the implementation of strategic digital projects, including those within the R&ED GenAI strategy.
The department thrives on collaboration, working closely with senior executives and stakeholders across R&ED to advance Novo Nordisk’s strategic data, digital, and AI priorities. The atmosphere is dynamic, fast-paced, and driven by a shared commitment to innovation and excellence.
