SDU Student Jobs & Career is looking for a Student Career counselor for SDU, Campus Sønderborg
At SDU Student Jobs & Career, part of SDU RIO, we are looking for a Student Career counselor who is passionate about guiding students and organizing events that help them find student job opportunities and connect with companies. The position is for 10–12 hours per week.
You will become part of a team with dedicated staff who are all highly motivated to support SDU students in preparing to engage with companies and organizations, and in using their education to create value in the job market.
Our work ensures that SDU's many students can identify opportunities and leverage their skills to create value for themselves and for the organizations they engage with — both during their studies and as graduates on the job market of the future.

Job Description
As our new Student Career counselor at SDU Student Jobs & Career, you will be advising students across all study programs. There is a particular focus on supporting students in finding and applying for student jobs, as well as delivering short presentations and more. Therefore, you need to be proactive and outgoing.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Maintaining our student job board and handling other ad hoc tasks based on your profile
- Advising students on how to best articulate the relevance of their education to a company or organization
- Organize and promote events towards students with the focus to create knowledge about the Danish labour market
- Guidance on job search strategies and student jobs – including feedback on CVs and cover letters
- Participating in and supporting at fairs at SDU and assisting SDU RIO in general.
- Delivering short in-person or online presentations at different group events for our students
You will be advising through various platforms, such as phone, email, and face-to-face conversations. You should also be comfortable navigating virtual platforms such as Teams, webinars, and be able to guide students through our many digital resources (e.g., e-books, podcasts, and guides on different topics).

- Is enthusiastic about and willing to grow in the area of communication and facilitation
- Has experience as an advisor/mentor or in teaching/presenting

Employment terms and location
Salary will be according to the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
Your work and advisory duties will take place at SDU Campus Sønderborg. Expected working hours are 10-12 hours per week.
