The Position
You will be part of our team, responsible for the testing of both primary and secondary packaging materials. The team consists of operators and supporters, totalling 16 individuals. The work environment is open and dynamic, promoting strong collaboration within the team, department, and with our stakeholders. We are on a journey to implement the latest technology and automate current processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting daily operations from the QC perspective.
  • Updating procedures and documentation to maintain compliance and efficiency.
  • Handling deviations and Out of Specification (OOS) cases.
  • Having practical responsibility for measuring equipment, troubleshooting equipment and equipment setup.
  • Project participation in the implementation of methods and equipment for new primary packaging materials, with a special focus on automation and digitalisation, in collaboration with our development support.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we expect that you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Possess at least around 3 years of experience working in a GMP regulated environment, preferably in a QC laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Are fluent in both Danish and English (written and verbal).

Department
You will be part of the Sourcing QC department, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials for Novo Nordisk's productions. The department consists of approximately 150 employees divided into 9 teams, all located in Hillerød. Sourcing QC is part of Sourcing Operations, which is responsible for the overall management of the inbound supply chain at Novo Nordisk.
