The position
As our Project Manager in Automated Intralogistics, you will be the Work Package Owner (WPO) for Intralogistics solutions and systems. You will be taking our Intralogistics scope from basic design through detailed design and all the way through installation, commissioning and handover.
It involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders, harvesting the existing knowledge of the company, and combining the inputs into a state-of-the-art material handling and Intralogistics technology solution. You will play a key role in ensuring that the solution is well-documented and ready to be implemented with our global sites based in Europe, China, and US.
Your activities will include:
• Drive project management and execution, effective project planning, and stringent monitoring of quality, schedule, and budget.
• Close collaboration with project and programme stakeholders in setting the intralogistics standard for the future whilst working closely with vendors and colleagues globally.
• Interact with key stakeholders to develop standardised load carriers throughout the programme.
• Identify the most innovative automated solutions and implement them to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure project success within scope, cost and schedule.
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks together with relevant stakeholders and our Project Office.
• Reporting on progress both at internal steering committee meetings and global program meetings.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the core team in building and designing the new organisation and setting the standard whilst in collaboration with FP.
Your workplace will be based in Odense, but as there is collaboration required on a global scale, some international travel might be required. It is estimated this will be a few days per year.
Qualifications
As our successful candidate, you have the following skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Pharmacy, Business or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience within warehouse and logistics. It is advantageous if this is from the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with experience executing complex projects with a cross-disciplinary stakeholder landscape.
• Understanding of automation/IT for process improvement.
• Great stakeholder management skills and building relations in a global context.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
As a professional, you have the bigger picture in mind and have worked strategically to drive processes on a global scale. Furthermore, you have great communication skills with the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, a newly established and growing area within Novo Nordisk. Our team is responsible for designing, planning, and building major Fill & Finish Expansion projects across Novo Nordisk. We are dedicated to serving the needs of millions of patients by rethinking our Fill & Finish facilities with the use of modern technology. With a global approach, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
