The Position
As a Senior Project Planner/Scheduler at Novo Nordisk, your role will be working within a project controls environment within the project management organisation, and you will work alongside other enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated senior professionals. You will also be expected to provide guidance and support to schedulers in the team and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Develop and maintain the projects integrated master schedule and lead the overall planning and scheduling effort in alignment with the global project controls, planning and scheduling processes.
• Deliver expected planning and scheduling progress reporting and on time delivery to the project controls reporting package.
• Continuously monitor project schedule performance to ensure issues are being mitigated.
• Proactively monitor project schedule performance to highlight slippages, inaccurate data causing erroneous forecasts/reporting and identifies corrective actions.
• Take ownership for development of planning and scheduling processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
In this role, you will also be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of project plans and schedules, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with experience in schedule analysis and forecasting.
We expect you to have the following qualifications:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, construction, project management or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling working within a project controls environment on large-scale complex CAPEX projects.
• Proven experience leading and driving the overall planning/scheduling process, with solid large scale integrated project controls process, procedural knowledge, and familiar with lean processes.
• Strong IT skills with extensive knowledge working with planning tools such as P6 EPPM, OPC and experienced user of office applications.
• Proficiency in English both written and oral.

You are proficient in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication and presentations of project progress, challenges, and solutions to maintain alignment and support.

About the Department
You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions, as a newly established and growing area at Novo Nordisk. The Fill & Finish Expansions area is responsible for facilitating a global collaboration around designing, planning, and building major Fill & Finish Expansion projects across Product Supply to meet the needs of millions of patients. We are rethinking our facilities with modern technology and setting the standards for the future. With a global approach, you will work with multiple sites and cultures around the world.
