What you’ll be doing
As student assistant in Global Fire & Rescue Marketing you will join a team of four talented colleagues responsible for creating and maintaining marketing, branding and web content for our Fire & Rescue Products division.

Student assistants play an important role within the VIKING organization. Many of our students also complete their internships with us and write their thesis about real-world projects and challenges at VIKING.

When you start your career with us, you will become part of our strong Young VIKING Network which brings together over 55 ambitious trainees, graduates and student assistants. Your primary responsibilities and tasks include helping us develop and maintain marketing materials and content for online and offline platforms, such as

  • Content and layout for our web platforms and social media channels.
  • Advertisements, web banners, brochures and datasheets
  • Sales support materials, e.g. newsletters, flyers and PowerPoint Presentations
  • Handling practical and administrative tasks that keep our marketing and exhibitions running smoothly

You will work approximately 15 hours a week (2 full days), with flexibility around exam periods.

What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate is currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field with at least 1.5 years left of studies.

  • You are detail-oriented, organized and responsible, so you can take ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • As our corporate language is English, you are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • It would also be an advantage if you are fluent in German
