We’re currently looking for a curious and driven Student Assistant to join the Marketing Communications and E-Commerce department at our headquarters in Esbjerg. The department functions as a full-service in-house agency, covering a wide range of marketing disciplines.

This position is placed within the team working specifically with performance marketing and social media, and your focus will be to support the work around digital campaigns and social media communication. You’ll gain hands-on experience with paid and organic content, tracking and reporting, and develop your skills within the scope of communication, marketing and branding.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the execution of digital campaigns across social media and other paid channels
  • Collecting and structuring campaign data to help track and communicate performance
  • Working with organic social media content – from planning, writing and visualizing - to scheduling and publishing across internal and external channels and media
  • Doing research and preparing content for viking-life.com
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the global organization
  • Ad hoc tasks

You will work approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the expectation of mutual flexibility during peak periods and exam seasons.

Student assistants play an important role within the VIKING organization. About you
The right candidate for this position is characterized by being organized, detail oriented, proactive and eager to learn and do what it takes to drive our digital marketing efforts to the next level.

  • You are probably studying (or you plan to start studying) within a relevant field - and have two or more years left before graduation.
  • You probably characterize yourself as a ‘digital native’ and hold a natural interest in digital platforms, media and solutions. You are a fast learner when it comes to mastering new technology.
  • You may enjoy writing and communicating, and take pride in turning complex topics into content that’s easy to understand. Many of our products are technical by nature, so clear and precise communication is essential to help our customers make informed decisions.
