The Position
As a Head of Portfolio Management and Governance, you will be responsible for strategic portfolio reviews with senior management, continuously improving our portfolio management set up and capabilities and ultimately ensuring that our investments/prioritisation is valued driven and in snyc with the applicable business strategies.

You will be leading a cross-functional team with representatives from line of business and IT, driving and improving lean portfolio operations to visualise and track of our digital product portfolio’s Kanban, roadmap, and value realisation, collaborating with our Finance partners on the monitoring of ongoing spend and budget planning. You will report to the VP of Strategy, Portfolio and Capability Management.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure portfolio products have, follow and track SMART OKRs that are fully in sync with the applicable business strategies
  • Take day-to-day responsibility of functionally leading employees (both within and outside of the DevDT area) concerned with portfolio management tasks, creating a team environment with clear priorities, roles & responsibilities and managing available resources
  • Continuously improve on the existing DTLT governance framework in line with the organization’s maturity and capacity, including which portfolio decisions to take in which forum and how decision-making forum below DTLT should be structured
  • Establish and automate insight-driving reports detailing portfolio progress and outcomes achieved, team metrics, financial health and risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance the DTLT operating model and governance

Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  • A master’s degree or above in a relevant area
  • At least, 10 years of relevant experience in Digital Product / Portfolio Management, Digital Transformation, and/or Technology Management Consulting. Experience in Life Science and/or Finance is a strong plus
  • Substantial experience with internally focused digital products to enhance performance/efficiency
  • Proven expertise in digital product management including discovery and experimentation, demonstrating a track record of successfully managing digital products
  • Significant experience in leadership roles, including mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Experience in agile delivery approaches, with relevant certifications (SAFe LPM preferred) as well as change management certification as a plus

As a professional, you are self-driven, structured, and detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities in English, and you have excellent analytical skills. You have a positive attitude, curiosity, energy and a strategic mindset to approach tasks independently and result oriented.
