The Position
As our Strategy & Innovation Partner, you will lead the deployment of our department’s strat-egy, ensuring we are equipped to support Novo Nordisk’s expansion through enhanced execu-tion capacity, strengthened internal processes, technological innovation, and organizational development. As the department has grown significantly in recent years, our strategy plays a central role in guiding the development of our internal structure, collaboration models, and roles – enabling us to meet the increasing demand for our services.
Your main tasks include:
· Ensure execution of the 2025 department strategy in collaboration with the department Deaprtment Management (MGMT) team
· Define and drive the annual strategy update process, along with the communication strategy
· Facilitate and structure the department’s technology innovation process
· Continuously optimizing the overall governance framework, ensuring a clear definition of the roles and responsibilities
· Plan and execute workshops within the department (eg strategy or new innovation)
· Plan and execute MGMT team offsites in collaboration with the department manager
You will be part of the management team in the Component Manufacturing Solutions depart-ment, which is a strong and diverse team of 5 managers with various backgrounds, a depart-ment assistant and a department director. You will be reporting to the department director and be a fully-fledged team member from day one. We will provide you with a comprehensive train-ing and onboarding.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
· Hold an academic degree in business, engineering or any other relevant field
· Solid experience within business development, senior management support and driving strategic projects in a global stakeholder landscape
· Possess change management and innovation skills (eg. Design thinking, Design SPRINT, agile)
· Experienced in preparing and delivering presentations at management level
· Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
As a person, you possess the ability to see the greater picture in a complex and dynamic envi-ronment where changes in priorities, projects and timing can occur. You have a clear under-standing of what it means to boost value creation through innovation and know how to lever-age business development on the journey. You enjoy finding pragmatic ways to solve chal-lenges and you can ensure execution and translation of the strategy into value for the organiza-tion. You value diverse perspectives and invite our stakeholders to co-create sustainable solu-tions with mutual benefit. Last but not least, your excellent communication skills allow you to obtain strong commitment.
About the department
Our department FPMSAT Component Manufacturing Solutions (CMS) is responsible for develop-ing manufacturing equipment for high-volume production of medical device components and delivering it to new global manufacturing sites. We are approximately 70 highly skilled profes-sionals, organized into four teams of engineering experts and a project office, managing the ex-ecution of around 50 projects simultaneously.
We work in close collaboration with our internal device development organization and the re-ceiving sites, continuously balancing the delivery of robust, scalable processes to our global fac-tories with the innovation of technologies for tomorrow’s production. The department has dou-bled in size over the past few years to meet the rapidly growing demand for scaling Novo Nordisk’s device manufacturing globally. Technology innovation is part of our culture, and we have successfully transformed technological concepts into impactful solutions. In the area of sustainability, we have long supported a company-wide effort to revolutionize the plastic indus-try through sustainable feedstock and advanced recycling. Looking ahead, our next frontiers include additive manufacturing and the increased use of manufacturing data to predict quality outcomes.
