About us
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen is a combined research and educational institution training bachelors, master students and PhDs within all fields of the molecular sciences. The Stamou lab is developing disruptive technologies to study the pharmacology and biophysical properties of membrane proteins on the nanoscale using fluorescence microscopy.
Tasks
We are looking for a lab assistant to support cell biology and microscopy activities in the lab. Your tasks will include:
- Ordering chemical and biological consumables for the lab.
- Maintaining stocks and records. Maintaining the chemistry and cell biology labs.
- Performing basic molecular, cell biology, image acquisition and data analysis, at the request and under the guidance of other lab members.
- A MSc degree in a related discipline
- Experience with general lab management
- Experience within cell biology and microscopy.
The employment and salary is made in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning academics in the state sector concluded between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).
Employment will be as an academic employee. The salary is based on seniority. Negotiation for salary supplement is possible. The working time is 37 hours per week on average. The position is for one year. The working hours are flexible.
