The Future S-Network Programme – Your Future Programme In the Future S-network programme, we are introducing driverless S-trains and implementing advanced technologies to increase capacity, improve punctuality, and reduce environmental impact.

The goal is to create a more efficient and sustainable public transport system that can meet the future mobility needs of urban areas.

In your daily work, you will be situated in a programme team with other professions such as change management, legal, commercial and administrative professions. Our primary task is to deliver well-functioning movement of passengers, contributing to a greener Denmark.



Your tasks In the programme team you contribute to ensure quality and robustness of the chosen maintenance model, observing the integrated Processes, Methods and KPIs for relevant performance requirements.

You will work on coordinating the maintenance tasks of the different projects DSB is implementing in the driverless S-network programme.

Your responsibilities will include



  • Prepare and decide on operation versus maintenance for our different contracts in your area of experience.
  • Prepare and decide on Asset management procedures in particular considerations to KPI.
  • Negotiate with the Supplier on their Maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure consistency between projects on Maintenance with a focus on RAM for the different systems.
  • Establish and grow a good relationship with different contractors, stakeholders, our Maintenance line organization, our operational organization and others.

Who are you? We are looking for an experienced engineer with an educational background as an engineer and a minimum of five years of experience.

We expect you to possess the following qualifications

  • Several years of relevant experience on the railway business and some years relevant experience with maintenance of a Railway system.
  • Knowledge about RAM, FMECA, ECM and the QA/ECM system is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following: Rolling Stock, Railway infrastructure (Rail, Catenary and Catenary supply, Signalling, and CBTC).
  • Knowledge about systems for supporting decisions necessary in maintenance of rail operation.
  • Multi technical understanding.
