Technician, R&D and Production

PURIFI is looking for an experienced electronics technician who wants to work where audio products are invented and where they are built. This is a full-time position at our site in Roskilde, and you will split your time evenly between our R&D team and our Production team.

At PURIFI, we are building a straight wire to the soul of music. We develop patented, ultra-low-distortion audio technology – our EIGENTAKT amplifiers and USHINDI loudspeaker drivers. We are a small, engineering-driven company where your work goes straight into products that customers hear.

Your role

  • R&D (50%) – prototypes and lab work with our design engineers
  • Production (50%) – loudspeaker driver assembly, electronics pre-production series and upkeep of rigs and tools

You get variety and broad hands-on experience across our product range. You report to our Operations Manager, who plans your day-to-day priorities together with both teams.

Key responsibilities

Prototyping and rework

  • Assemble and modify prototype PCBs, including fine-pitch SMD soldering and rework (QFN, 0402 and similar)
  • Build amplifier and test assemblies, wiring and mechanical fixtures
  • Implement design changes and keep prototypes documented

Lab measurements

  • Carry out measurements on amplifiers and transducers using audio analyzers (e.g. Audio Precision), oscilloscopes and power supplies
  • Support characterization, verification and pre-compliance testing, and record results for the engineers

Production

  • Assemble loudspeaker drivers – repetitive, hands-on series work
  • Build pre-production series of our electronic products
  • Maintain, update and improve production rigs, jigs and tools
  • Build new rigs and fixtures when products or processes change
  • Write and update work instructions
  • Handle a physically active workday with some light lifting

Your profile

  • Trained elektronikfagtekniker, elektronikoperatør or similar (e.g. elektronikmekaniker)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with electronics in development, test or production
  • Excellent SMD soldering and rework skills
  • Confident using lab instruments and systematic troubleshooting
  • Able to read schematics, layouts and BOMs
  • Comfortable with repetitive production work, keeping quality consistent from the first unit to the last
  • Structured and independent, with a good eye for documentation
  • Experience with analog or audio electronics, power electronics or class-D amplifiers is a plus
  • Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python) is a plus
  • Good written and spoken English; Danish is a plus

Above all, you take pride in getting details right.

What we offer

  • Close collaboration with world-class audio engineers – and real influence on how our products are built
  • A well-equipped lab and production setup
  • An informal, flat organization with short decision paths
  • Competitive salary and pension, based on your qualifications
  • Workplace: Lykkegårdsvej 3, Roskilde
  • Flextime between 7:00 and 18:00
