Warehouse team leader

N.G.P. Tobacco ApS is looking for a motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our warehouse team in Haverslev.

As Warehouse Team Leader, you will be the operational leader of the warehouse, responsible for the daily coordination, planning and supervision of warehouse activities. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, who has the overall strategic and managerial responsibility for the warehouse.

In practice, you will be the hands-on leader on the warehouse floor – making sure that the daily operation runs smoothly, priorities are clear, the team is supported, and materials are received, stored, picked and delivered safely, accurately and on time.

You will therefore have a key role in turning the overall warehouse strategy into a well-functioning daily operation, working closely with Warehouse Operators, Production and the Warehouse Manager.

Your Profile

We imagine that you:

• Have experience from a warehouse, logistics or production environment.
• Enjoy taking responsibility and coordinating the work of others.
• Are structured, reliable and able to keep an overview in a busy working day.
• Have a practical and hands-on approach to your work.
• Communicate clearly and work well with different people.
• Are comfortable using IT and ERP systems.
• Have a strong focus on safety, accuracy and good housekeeping.
• Can work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Are willing to step in and help with warehouse operations when required.

Experience with warehouse systems, inventory control or forklift operations is an advantage.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Planning and organizing daily warehouse activities.
• Assigning tasks to Warehouse Operators according to priorities and available resources.
• Conducting the daily warehouse start-up meeting.
• Supporting the team in hands-on warehouse operations when required.
• Ensuring that daily activities are completed safely, accurately and on time.
• Coordinating receiving, storage, picking, production supply and shipping.
• Ensuring correct registration of stock movements in the ERP system.
• Carrying out cycle counts and following up on stock differences.
• Ensuring good housekeeping and compliance with safety, PPE and forklift requirements.
• Training and onboarding new Warehouse Operators.
• Coaching and supporting operators in their daily work.
• Following up on attendance and first-line employee issues.
• Registering and reporting daily warehouse KPIs.
• Identifying problems and escalating significant issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Collecting improvement ideas from the warehouse team and helping implement improvements.

N.G.P. Tobacco ApS was established in 2020 with the purpose of producing smoke-free nicotine products for Europe and international markets. The factory currently employs around 170 employees, with 20 employees in administration, and we are continuously growing and expanding our facilities in Haverslev.

We produce our own brands, including KILLA and PABLO, for more than 40 markets in Europe and abroad.
