Marketing student assistant in high-tech startup

Do you want to help communicate advanced technology to an international market?

Spectro Inlets is looking for a student assistant or part-time employee to become our primary marketing resource, to help promote our technology to an international audience. You will have great freedom and responsibility while working closely with both our technical experts and our external marketing agency, who will help with strategy, content plans and ongoing sparring.

At Spectro Inlets, we develop advanced analytical instruments for the research and development laboratories worldwide. We are an innovative company where technology, science and innovation go hand in hand.

Your responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Managing our social profiles and newsletters, ensuring a regular posting schedule.
• Content creation for our website, social profiles and newsletters.
• Help build our knowledge universe on our website together with our technical experts.
• Develop customer case stories for our website in collaboration with colleagues and customers.
• Carrying out graphical design tasks relating to our marketing material.
• Assisting with various administrative tasks around conference attendance, including communication with organizers, travel planning, timeline delivery of marketing materials, etc.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a student or is interested in working part time at 10-15 hours per week.
• Has experience or a strong interest in digital marketing, communication or content creation.
• Has experience managing social channels and websites.
• Has some experience with graphic design and visual content creation tools.
• Has a basic understanding of SEO and website analytics.
• Has an interest in science and technology and the ability to understand and communicate technical subjects is a strong advantage.
• Is good at taking initiative and working autonomously on complex tasks.
• Works structured and thrives in seeing projects through to completion.
• Is a team player who enjoys collaborating across disciplines.
• Is fluent in English communication, both written and spoken.
