Operations Manager - Supply Chain Planning

At Oresund Pharma, we are building a pharmaceutical business where pragmatism, scalability and execution matter. We operate in a scale-up environment with strong growth ambitions across Europe, and that means we need people who do not just manage processes, but actively shape them.

We are now looking for an Operations Manager with a strong analytical backbone and a hands-on approach to execution. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership of how supply, demand, stock visibility, supplier follow-up and operational execution are connected across a growing European business.

Why this role

As our portfolio and geographical footprint expand, we need stronger end-to-end ownership across supply planning, supplier/CMO follow-up, inventory visibility and the handover into logistics and warehouse partners.

This is not a narrow planning role. You will own the supply and demand picture while staying close to execution - from PO recommendations, supplier confirmations and ETAs to stock availability, logistics priorities and 3PL/warehouse coordination.

You will join a scale-up environment where the operating model is still being built. That means real ownership from day one: improving planning structures, strengthening data discipline, and helping shape how Operations scales as new markets, products and partners are added.

Your impact in this role

In this role, you will help build a stronger operational backbone that supports reliable product availability, better supply decisions and a more scalable way of working across markets.

  • Own demand forecasting and supply planning across products, partners and European markets
  • Translate commercial input from tenders, launches, pricing actions and market opportunities into supply scenarios, planning assumptions and PO recommendations
  • Build scalable analysis, planning and decision-support tools - using automation, BI or AI-enabled solutions where they reduce manual work and improve decisions
  • Strengthen data quality and planning discipline across ERP, sales, stock and forecast data
  • Own the supplier-side PO flow, including placement, supplier/CMO confirmations, delivery timing, supply delays and open PO follow-up
  • Maintain clear visibility on stock availability, overstock risks and potential stock-outs
  • Coordinate priorities with logistics, 3PL and warehouse partners to ensure smooth operational execution
  • Support inbound/outbound visibility, stock reconciliation and inventory control where relevant

What you bring

  • A strong analytical and numerical profile
  • Experience in supply/demand planning, inventory management or operations analytics
  • Solid understanding of purchasing, supplier follow-up and stock availability
  • Experience from supply chain, operations, logistics or purchasing in the pharmaceutical industry, medtech or another regulated product-based industry
  • Good understanding of GDP/GxP-regulated supply flows, including quality constraints, batch/release status, documentation requirements, lead times and inventory implications
  • Experience working with ERP, BI or operational reporting tools, with the ability to turn data from different sources into useful planning and decision views
  • Strong Excel skills and curiosity for better tools, automation and scalable reporting
  • Ability to work with imperfect data and create structure, visibility and decisions
  • Clear communicator who can align stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively

What will help you thrive here

  • You enjoy ownership and responsibility for business-critical processes
  • You are comfortable in a scale-up environment where structures are still evolving
  • You combine analytical depth with pragmatic execution
  • You like building better ways of working, not just following existing ones
  • You are curious about automation, tooling and how data can improve decisions
  • You can move between details and the bigger operational picture
  • You see Operations as a strategic enabler - not just an execution function
  • And lastly, you want to be part of a close and ambitious team where collaboration, trust and practical problem-solving matter

Practical details

  • Location: Copenhagen (HQ)
  • Reporting line:COO
  • Travel: Occasional travel within Europe
