The role

Your key responsibility is to ensure that HSEQ is embedded into our operational activities and tasks across the organisation.

In this role, you will support Muehlhan Wind Service in developing and enhancing our systems, while driving HSEQ performance and helping to shape future HSEQ standards across multiple regions.

The role can be based in Denmark, Poland, Portugal, or the United Kingdom, and will involve close collaboration with colleagues across countries and business units.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure suitable and sufficient Safe Systems of Work for operational activities across all Business Units
  • Contribute to and deliver HSE documentation (RAMS, project documentation, execution plans, COSHH assessments, safety alerts, etc.)
  • Develop, lead, and follow up on proactive HSE initiatives and campaigns
  • Support, train, and coach colleagues in back-office functions and on-site
  • Contribute to Behaviour-Based Safety initiatives and strengthen the safety culture
  • Conduct site inspections in line with company standards
  • Ensure registration, analysis, follow-up, and preventive actions based on inspections and performance reviews
  • Develop a robust collaborative culture with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support functional HSEQ activities, including audits, investigations, systems, processes, and methodologies
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions
  • Act as an ambassador for “The Muehlhan Way” of working
  • Review HSE compliance across multiple regions and support regional compliance activities
  • Regular international travel is required, estimated at approximately once per month.

Skills, abilities, and knowledge:

  • Strong personal qualities and a solid work ethic
  • Experience from the wind industry
  • Experience with investigation methodologies such as Taproot, 5 Why, fault tree analysis, or similar
  • Be comfortable reading and understanding technical specifications as well as standards.
  • Have professional and industry experience is highly advantageous.
  • A teamplayer – with a positive attitude towards people.
  • Have Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Be robust, calm and balanced.
  • Have a good knowledge of ISO systems.
  • Motivated by working autonomously and can take the initiative to make decisions.
  • Have knowledge and experience in the use of the usual IT tools.
  • Ability to organize work time and structure.
  • Have a positive attitude and commitment to work.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Hold a recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
