More about Alumichem

At Alumichem, we operate at the intersection of water, chemistry, and process stability. Through a combination of chemical expertise and engineering, we develop water treatment solutions that support stable, efficient, and well-controlled operations—even under demanding conditions.

Our approach goes beyond treatment. We work systematically with optimisation and resource recovery, helping customers reduce waste, recover valuable materials such as phosphorus and metals, and reuse water within their processes. In this way, we support a more circular and responsible use of resources—without compromising operational reliability.

Our solutions are applied across a range of industries and environments—from municipal wastewater treatment to complex industrial systems, and from colder northern climates to operations in warmer regions. Regardless of context, our focus remains consistent: to ensure that processes run as intended.

Founded on strong technical expertise and a pragmatic mindset, Alumichem is headquartered in Birkerød, with production in Kalundborg and international operations across Belgium, Germany, the UK, Ghana, the USA, and Canada. Our footprint spans Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, and Ghana, and we continue to expand in step with our customers’ needs.
