
Internal Sales Profile with Responsibility for Follow-up and Execution
– Commercial right hand to the Sales Director
Are you the type who creates structure in sales activities and follows up consistently - while also thriving in direct customer contact? Then you might be the one we are looking for to play a key role in our international sales activities.
At GMT Robotics, we develop and manufacture robotic systems for the rebar industry and work with customers all over the world. We are a growing international niche company, and we are now looking for a structured and commercially strong professional who can ensure progress in our sales activities while building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners.
You will work closely with our Sales Director and take on a central role in our daily sales activities. This is a newly established position where you will have real influence on how we work with sales, as well as strong opportunities for personal and professional development as we continue to strengthen our sales organization.
An international sales team with drive and ambition
You will become part of a small team consisting of our Sales Director, two external sales representatives, and four agents. The team operates internationally across countries and time zones, and much of the collaboration takes place via Teams, email, and phone.
A broad and independent role
Your daily work will be closely linked to the Sales Director and ongoing sales activities, where you contribute by freeing up time and taking ownership of tasks. You will act as a key link in the sales activities and an important sparring partner in day-to-day operations.
You will share responsibility for coordination and follow-up and help ensure a professional and consistent dialogue with customers throughout the entire sales process. The role requires structure and independence, and you will play a key part in ensuring momentum and cohesion in sales activities.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Create structure and maintain overview of customer data, leads, and sales activities
- Ensure systematic follow-up on pipeline, quotations, and customer inquiries
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, and customer communication
- Participate in customer meetings and ensure follow-up afterward
- Actively work with customers and leads and serve as backup for the sales team
- Contribute to improving workflows and sales processes
- Share responsibility for quality and consistency in quotations and sales materials
Who are you?
You are the one who makes things work in practice and ensures that no customer or opportunity falls through the cracks - by creating overview, maintaining momentum, and following tasks through to completion.
We imagine that you:
- Have experience in technical B2B sales (internal or external) or a role close to sales
- Understand sales processes and thrive in direct customer interaction
- Work in a structured manner and have strong IT skills
- Take responsibility and follow up – even in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate professionally in English, both written and spoken
- Have technical aptitude and can understand complex solutions
You are motivated by creating order and seeing that it makes a tangible difference to sales.
