Student / Junior Analyst
Better Energy is looking for a Student / Junior Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team in our Copenhagen office. In this role, you will support the development and improvement of financial models that form the basis for decision-making by Better Energy Management.
If you enjoy working across the organisation and have strong analytical and financial modelling skills, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and make a real impact in a renewable energy company.
At Better Energy, we are not hired – we join. Like your colleagues, you are comfortable with precision work and take pride in delivering high quality analyses. You work independently, think analytically, and contribute constructively to collaboration across teams and stakeholders. We have a dynamic way of working with short decision-making processes, giving you the opportunity to influence and shape your own tasks and responsibilities.
How you will make a difference
As a Student / Junior Analyst in Corporate Finance, you will support data handling and financial modelling across the organisation. Your work will contribute to asset and portfolio valuations (NAV, DCF), short and long-term forecasting models, and transaction related processes.
You will also assist in preparing presentations for the Management Team, Executive Board, and Board of Directors, and help ensure effective coordination between Corporate Finance and other departments so that relevant data is accurate, aligned, and up to date.
The role offers great variety, and your tasks will include:
- Maintaining, updating, and developing complex financial models
- Supporting short and long-term financial forecasting, including scenario analyses
- Preparing clear and concise PowerPoint presentations for senior management
- Assisting with ad hoc analyses related to ongoing business decisions
- Supporting structured data handling and coordinating inputs across departments in line with organisational data standards
We encourage you to actively shape your learning and development at Better Energy, and we see this role as a strong foundation for a future career in Corporate Finance.
