This reflects our expansion in employee numbers across jurisdictions, organizational maturity, and corporate and operational structure. Strengthening our legal and compliance capabilities are therefore a key priority.

The role

We are looking for an attorney-at-law / Legal Counsel to join NMD Pharma at headquarters in Aarhus and become part of the Legal & Compliance section of our People & Business Services area.

You will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Group General Counsel, Morten Bull, and a Paralegal Student Assistant. You will play an important role in supporting the business across a broad range of legal matters and act as a trusted sparring partner.

The preferred candidate has at least 3 to 5 years of experience.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice and support across the organisation on corporate, and operational matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including supplier, CRO, CDMO, collaboration, and service agreements.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve contract templates, playbooks, and legal processes to support efficient ways of working.
  • Support regulatory and compliance related activities relevant to a regulated life science environment.
  • Act as a legal sparring partner for business stakeholders and provide training or guidance on legal and compliance topics when relevant.
  • Manage selected legal matters independently and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
  • For more senior profiles, take ownership of specific legal areas or projects and contribute to the strategic development of the legal function.

Your profile

You hold a law degree (cand.jur. or equivalent) and are a strong, pragmatic lawyer with solid legal judgment. You have experience from a law firm and/or an in-house legal role and are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the organisation.

Experience from life science, biotech, or other regulated industries is an advantage. Strong legal fundamentals, curiosity and motivation to grow with the company are equally important.

You communicate clearly and professionally in English, both orally and in writing.
