Head of Sourcing

Coffee Collective is looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Sourcing to lead our global green coffee sourcing and drive the continued development of long-term, value-driven partnerships with coffee producers.

The role is central to Coffee Collective’s quality, business and purpose. You hold the overall responsibility for all green coffee purchasing, while also having direct country responsibility for 2-4 origin countries and leading the country responsibility group. The position combines strategic leadership with a strong hands-on approach close to producers, quality and decision-making.

You report directly to the CEO.

The role

As Head of Sourcing, you are responsible for the strategic, financial and professional development of Coffee Collective’s sourcing work. You ensure that sourcing decisions support our long-term strategy while continuously improving quality, value creation and responsible sourcing practices across the supply chain.

The sourcing function plays an important supporting role for our sales organisation, ensuring that volumes, qualities and timing are aligned with commercial needs and future demand.

A core part of the role is planning volumes and purchases 1-1½ years into the future, in close collaboration with Sales, the Roastery and Finance.

The role is based in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for Coffee Collective’s green coffee sourcing and purchasing
  • Direct country responsibility for 2-4 origin countries
  • Leadership of a coordinator and the country responsibility group (currently consisting of four people)
  • Responsibility for green coffee quality, cupping and the coffee portfolio
  • Development of long-term producer partnerships based on quality, transparency and fair pricing
  • Planning and forecasting of volumes and purchases 1-1½ years ahead, supporting Sales with reliable supply, timing and portfolio planning, in close collaboration with the CFO
  • Close collaboration with the roastery, sales and marketing managers

Who you are

You have strong experience within green coffee sourcing and are comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You work analytically and holistically, make well-considered decisions and are able to prioritize in complex situations. You are a clear and present leader who takes responsibility, challenges existing ways of working when needed and drives change with persistence and structure. You are passionate, ambitious and results-driven, and you engage and motivate others through trust, collaboration and strong professional integrity.

The role includes travel periods of approximately 4-5 weeks per year.

Experience in speciality coffee and cupping is prefereds.

Ideal start for the position is April 2026.
