Marketing Specialist for Sweden (Maternity cover)

Techtronic Industries Nordic (TTI) is a well-consolidated international company, which markets and sells a wide range of power tools, outdoor power equipment and accessories under the market-leading brands Milwaukee® and Ryobi®. We are an expanding business with a constant stream of new, exciting and innovative products. Our growth within TTI is moving fast and now one of our colleagues is expanding the team further, when going on maternity leave in April.

We are therefore looking for another committed Swedish-speaking Marketing Specialist for our marketing team at our Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen to take over her responsibilities while away. Ideally you can start 1st of March as we are aiming for a smooth transition.

You will primarily work with digital marketing and communication for the Swedish market, supporting the local presence of our Ryobi® brand.

You will become part of a marketing team with 15 committed colleagues covering the Nordic countries. Our environment is relaxed, with good energy within the organization. In collaboration with your colleagues, you will influence and develop the marketing department and the services we provide. We are looking for a colleague who wants to contribute to the coordination of our marketing activities in the Nordic countries, as part of a Nordic team.

We offer an independent and dynamic job in a market-leading business with headquarters just outside of Copenhagen, 10 minutes away from Ørestad. We will of course give you a thorough introduction to our products and approach to marketing, and we will do everything we can to ensure that you succeed and thrive in the role.

You will together with one colleague oversee 3 main areas for the Swedish market with plenty of responsibility

You will get the primary responsibility for ensuring a strong and consistent local presence for Ryobi® in the Swedish market through a wide range of digital marketing and communication activities. This includes supporting the implementation of campaign activities and strengthening Ryobi®’s visibility across key channels. You will participate in conferences and kick-offs from time to time, and you should therefore expect approx. 10 travel days per year. In your day-to-day work, your role will be divided between 3 areas of responsibility:

One of your main tasks is being responsible for all Swedish copywriting and translations, ensuring that Ryobi®’s local communication is clear, consistent and aligned with the brand. This includes writing and adapting marketing copy, as well as translating and proofreading product descriptions and press releases from English to Swedish. Even though we work with technical products, you must not let this discourage you – since our target audience is the consumer market, we always try to make our texts understandable for all readers.

In addition, you will handle and coordinate our Swedish digital channels, including managing our Swedish social media accounts through scheduling and publishing content. You will also engage with followers through community management and be involved in newsletter communication, website updates and other digital activities targeted towards the Swedish market.

You will manage collaborations with local Swedish influencers, supporting campaign activities and ensuring that influencer content is aligned with the brand and tailored to the Swedish market.

You excel in a workday with varied tasks, where some are solved independently and others in collaboration with colleagues from different countries. You will get your own areas of responsibility, so it is important that you are driven, enterprising, flexible and proactive.

More specifically, it is central to us that you have a degree in marketing. You also thrive in using simple language in both speech and writing.

We imagine that Swedish is your native tongue, that you are fluent in English (corporate language) and able to get by in “Scandinavian”, seeing as we are a workplace with many different languages represented – the most important thing is that you can translate from English to Swedish.
