Technical Integration Lead

SameSystem is the leading Workforce Management (WFM) Solution for retail and foodservice, used by more than 185,000 people at 12,500+ locations in 24 markets. With 25% annual growth and a strong market position across Europe, we enable retailers to operate smarter, create fairer schedules, and deliver better customer experiences.

We are now strengthening our Customer Success organisation with a dedicated Technical Integration Lead a crucial role that will ensure seamless integrations and world-class technical experiences for our customers.

Why this role matters

Integration excellence is becoming one of the most important parts of the customer journey. We already have a strong API setup and a solid technical foundation, but we want to elevate the experience even further. To achieve our ambition of building Europe’s best Customer Success department, with the lowest churn and highest customer satisfaction, we need a specialist who can take full ownership of our integration landscape end-to-end.

In this role, you will bridge Customers, Product Development, Sales, and Partners. You will ensure our integrations run smoothly, are well-documented, are commercially sound, and continue to create exceptional long-term value for our customers.

Your role in the company

You will become the go-to technical specialist inside Customer Success for everything related to integrations - both internal and external. You will work directly with our CCO, our development team, and our Partner Manager to make sure SameSystem stays the strongest and most reliable WFM platform on the market.

Your efforts will influence how thousands of shops and hundreds of thousands of employees experience their daily work through SameSystem.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Management & Coordination

  • Work closely with our development team to ensure smooth execution, clear timelines, and high-quality integrations for both new and existing customers.
  • Build and maintain a complete overview of all integrations including internal integrations, external partner integrations, and historical integrations developed for specific customers.
  • Ensure best-practice processes for scoping, documentation, and execution of integration-related tasks.
  • Lead and collaborate with our dedicated integration developer to ensure high-quality technical delivery, smooth workflows, and continuous improvement across all integrations.

Partner & Ecosystem Collaboration

  • Partner with our Partner Manager to explore how new integrations can unlock more value for our shared customers.
  • Support commercial and technical conversations with partners (POS, payroll, ERP, analytics, loyalty, etc.) to strengthen our ecosystem.

Commercial & Strategic Support

  • Collaborate closely with the CCO to ensure we have a commercially sound setup around integration projects, maintenance, and cost structures.
  • Help improve our commercial processes related to integrations, including scoping, pricing, and customer communication.

Customer Interaction

  • Join discussions with key enterprise customers and strategic prospects, ensuring they receive clear answers to integration questions and experience full confidence in our technical capabilities.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and integration processes, reducing friction and strengthening long-term satisfaction.

What you bring

You do not need to be a developer but you must thrive in technical environments and understand software integrations on a practical, architectural, and commercial level.

We imagine you have:

  • A technical background or experience working hands-on with integrations in software/SaaS.
  • Solid understanding of APIs, data flows, webhooks, and system-to-system communication.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Development, and Customer Success teams.
  • Strong communication skills being able to explain technical topics in simple terms to both customers and colleagues.
  • A structured and proactive mindset, with a desire to build clarity and order in a complex integration landscape.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or workforce management.

  • Team player: You enjoy working collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong ownership: You take responsibility and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Customer-centric: You understand that integrations are not only technical, they are essential to the customer experience.
