Student Assistant to R&D team to Green Tech in Ballerup

Job Description

At LiqTech in Ballerup, we have more than 20 years of experience, working in production and development of patented ceramic products. To be more specific, we produce ceramic membranes for different types of water, oil- and gas treatment, as well as diesel particle filters for e.g., heavy vehicles.

Every day we work actively to reduce negative environmental impact, and our products support – both on land and on water – the green transition on a global scale.

We are looking for a student assistant to work closely together with our Research & Development department on our new ceramic membrane products.

The tasks in this position include supporting process optimization experiments within extrusion, coating, and heat treatment, as well as characterization of materials and prototypes with respect to their microstructure and performance. The techniques used include optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), rheometry, capillary porosimetry, and permeation and controlled filtration testing.

• You are just as interested in creating environmentally sustainable solutions as we are.
• You are interested in water treatment as a broad concept.
• You are well underway with your education in engineering (engineering/ Diploma Engineer) and have a theoretical knowledge of the techniques described in the text above – we will provide the practical training.
• You are able to work approximately 2 half days a week, in total 8-10 hours per week.
• You are fluent in English both verbal and written – any other languages are just a bonus.
• You have an open mind, the ability to work independently, and do not let yourself be intimidated by a sometimes hectic and unpredictable everyday life.
