Are you passionate about IT – and motivated by helping colleagues when technology acts up?
We’re looking for a service-minded and curious IT Supporter who’s eager to grow with the role and play a key part in building our internal IT department.
When colleagues call and say “Help, my PC isn’t working!”, you take it with a smile and dive in with enthusiasm to find the right solution – always focusing on great service and clear, user-friendly communication.
Help us build our IT department
This is a newly created position, which means you’ll be our first dedicated IT Supporter. Working closely with your IT colleague, you’ll help shape how we work with IT going forward. You’ll join a team where sparring, honesty, and transparency are key values – and where all ideas are welcome. We believe the best results come from collaboration.
Our IT operations and network are currently handled partly by an external partner, but depending on your experience and curiosity, you’ll have the opportunity to gradually take over more operational tasks internally and participate in projects that help develop both you and the department.
As IT support also will be covering our sister companies as a newly shared service function, you’ll get a broad network and collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization.
We’re looking for a dedicated IT Supporter who’s curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask critical questions. You should thrive in a role where you both handle practical IT challenges, document solutions, and contribute to developing our IT setup.
You’ll get to work with:
- Providing 1st- and 2nd-level support, both onsite and remotely
- Installing and setting up laptops, mobile phones, printers, and other equipment
- Operating and supporting Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and vSphere
- Troubleshooting issues on everything from laptops to servers and printers
- Participating in the implementation of new IT solutions and projects
- Documenting solutions and helping build a knowledge base to ensure sharing of experience and best practices within the team
This role is a great fit for you if:
You have an IT background, either from education or hands-on experience within IT, preferably with support of Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. It’s an advantage if you have worked with remote support and have knowledge of virtual machines, for example VMware vSphere.
You are motivated by new technology and change and enjoy working in a structured way. You have a natural drive to deliver excellent service and communicate clearly and effectively – even with colleagues who don’t have a technical background.
You thrive with freedom under responsibility, have a good overview, and are eager to learn, grow, and take initiative.
