Electro Technical Manager

Join us as Electro Technical Manager and drive innovation across the globe

We’re looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to join our team in Lem as Electro Technical Manager.

In this key role, you’ll take responsibility for the design, quality, and compliance of electrical systems – from specification and documentation to installation and technical support. You’ll also work closely with our Application Engineering, Aftermarket, and Sales teams, providing expert guidance and ensuring our cooling solutions perform at their best.

This is a hands-on role with regular international travel, where you’ll collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and customers to solve challenges and strengthen our technical capabilities. You’ll be primarily based in Lem, focusing on projects within Vestas industrial cooling, while also contributing your expertise to key initiatives across the wider Vestas aircoil Group.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the design and specification of electrical systems for projects and sub-suppliers.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with international standards (UL, CE, cUL, etc.)
  • Support teams through troubleshooting minor PLC systems, site surveys, and installation guidance.
  • Apply your knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and control signals (4–20mA / 0–10V)
  • Share expertise across departments and provide technical training.
  • Collaborate with our global teams in Romania, the UK, and the US.

Who you are

  • Degree in Marine Engineering.
  • Strong background in electrical engineering and marine systems.
  • Skilled in interpreting electrical and P&ID diagrams.
  • Analytical and structured, with the ability to dimension complex systems and calculate pump capacity.
  • A strong communicator with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
  • Willing to travel internationally.
