
Would you like to join an international team within the shipping business?
We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Product Supporter with a passion for software and customer service to join our Danish HQ team in Kgs. Lyngby.
Cooperating closely with all departments, you will be assisting commercial vessels with our products, which make international shipping safer and more efficient.
Weilbach was founded in 1755 but has undergone a transformation over the past years by growing our digital offerings. Hence, in addition to traditional nautical charts and books, we now focus on developing and selling nautical data and cutting-edge software to the shipping industry globally. In total, we are 55 staff, comprising the HQ in Denmark and subsidiaries in the UK, Singapore, Egypt, and Canada. Further, Weilbach has launched a new growth strategy for 2030
Your main responsibilities will include
- Fulfilling customer’s queries and software support requests via our ticket system
- Handling B2B and B2C phone calls
- Processing digital orders
- Be a part of developing Weilbach global support function
- Be a part of providing input to our product development cycle
- Cooperate with our subsidiaries to deliver good service to our customers
- Handling internal IT requests
- Take part in 24/7 support coverage by covering Saturdays every 3rd week
Besides, we offer a position in a company with an informal atmosphere, short decision-making processes, and generally good conditions, i.a. 37.5 hours weekly, incl. lunch break; health insurance; lunch arrangement; media package and opportunities for further education etc.
We are located in brand new offices in Kgs. Lyngby. You will be working with colleagues across our organization and will have the occasional opportunity to travel to our other offices or visit commercial ships during their port stay in any country in the world.
We expect that you
- Have a relevant IT education or documented experience with software support.
- Have a good knowledge of software usage.
- Have good geographical knowledge, because of our route reviewing activities.
- Speak and write Danish and English fluently.
- Have a desire to develop and challenge status quo.
Your personal skills are really important, so we expect that you are
- Structured, pay attention to detail, and are able to prioritize your tasks.
- Open to talk to international customers in English.
- Flexible and service minded.
- Able to cooperate in an international team.
- Willing to learn and develop in an industry that is digitalizing rapidly.
Maritime knowledge is a plus but not a requirement for this position.
