That is why in this function, you will develop, strengthen, follow and promote the sales & product development of NLMK’s three plate mills within Norway & Finland market for: Clabecq (Belgium), DanSteel (Denmark) and Verona (Italy).
About the job
Main tasks as Sales Manager:
- Most of your time, visiting existing customers and make the promotion of our steels and our solutions.
- Be aware of mills’ workload and, in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Manager and / or Industrial Segment Manager, monitor bookings where the most contributive and / or where mills need tonnage.
- To collect, analyze, treat and answer price inquiries, on a daily base based on given guidelines.
- To follow up on delivery times and other queries from customer in cooperation with the mills.
- To strengthen the presence of our strategic products on their specific markets and segments on a global base.
- Gathering information on customers and competitors (e.g., company size, capacities, capabilities, product, etc.).
- To enhance the technical advantages of our products and emphasize their particular strengths for specific applications.
- Participating in fairs and promote the characteristics of the mills and establish new contacts (with marketing) and build up a strong network in Norway & Finland.
- Supporting the mills in the treatment of payments, claims or other technical issues.
- On a regular basis, communicate with your sales colleagues from other European countries.
- Close cooperation with Marketing & BI Team.
About you and your strong profile
The right candidate has minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with commercial B2B marketing or B2B sales as a sales representative.
If you have industrial sales experience with steel sector-specific sales or other industry sales expertise is preferred and it would be a clear advantage. If you also have work with SAP experience as ERP, it would also be a clear advantage.
To perform in this job role, you need to have:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) in English and on top Danish or Norwegian.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
We emphasize that you can work independently and take responsibility for initiated activities. You have a structured working method that ensures overview and quality in a busy and exciting everyday life.
Our team
You will be part of an international team of 17 employees in the commercial organization in Denmark, consisting of Marketing & Business Intelligence, Industry Segment Sales, Regional Sales and Middle Office (back-office sales support).
You will report to the Regional Sales Manager for Nordic.
