Support Engineer

The Company

Makin ApS develops machine control systems for earthmovers, with a clear strategy to make a noticeable difference in the market. Since our establishment in 2018, we have created the preferred machine control system in Scandinavia and continue to expand into new markets. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our Support Team.

Makin’s head office is located in Odense, Denmark, and we expect our new Support Engineer to work primarily from this location. We collaborate closely with our distributor network—both in developing new solutions and in providing daily support for users. Within the Support Team, we value initiative, teamwork, a sense of humor, and a strong dedication to customer service.

The Position

We support our international distributors with everything they need to grow their markets: troubleshooting, training, spare parts, service offers, technical documentation, e-learning, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting distributors with remote troubleshooting of both software solutions and system hardware
• Acting as the go-to person when customers face issues with 3D models
• Driving product adoption among existing distributors through training and information
• Visualizing and communicating distributor needs across the organization
• Developing content for our various knowledge bases

The Candidate

You have a relevant technical background that enables you to work with distributors on their level. Perhaps you are a surveyor or a 3D model developer for construction projects—especially terrain models. Experience in automation, machine control, or digital construction is considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to create and maintain strong partnerships with distributors
• Excellent communication skills and a structured mindset
• Fluency in a Scandinavian language and English (additional languages are an advantage)
• 3–5 years of experience in a support function
• A genuine curiosity and interest in working with both hardware and software
