
Denmark Customs Specialist

We are seeking a professional DK Customs Specialist to join our team near CPH airport to support the Customs Department at our company. In this role, you will be a key driver in the Customs Department, supporting daily operations and contributing to various tasks and projects related to customs. What you'll do
- Manage the full customs clearance process for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Prepare and review customs documentation including import/export declarations, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customs requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate customs records in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
- Provide guidance on tariff classifications.
- Assist in managing post-clearance activities such as audits, corrections, and customs claims.
- Stay up to date with changes in customs laws and trade regulation.
- Identify areas of improvement in customs procedures and support the development of best practices.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Who you are
- 1-3 years of customs experience in the local market
- Familiar with local customs policies, regulations, compliance, customs clearance processes, and risk points of different business types
- Rich resources in local customs (would be an advantage)
- Experience in logistics: (depends)
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a forwarding agent
- Proficient in customs clearance and tariff codes
- Good knowledge of the customs and tax systems in Nordic countries
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in customs administration, risk management, experience in ICS2 management or related fields would be an advantage
Working location: Kystvejen 30, 2770 Kastrup, Denmark.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: 35.000,00 kr. - 50.000,00 kr. per month.

- Denmark: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Experience:
- Customs Clearance: 1-3 years (Required).
Language:
- English (Required).
- Danish (Required).
License/Certification:
- Certification in customs clearance (would be an advantage).
