Your Role
As our new OEM Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships, and executing account plans for key OEM customers across the EMEA region. You will be part of an ambitious and dynamic commercial team and could shape the future of RealTruck in EMEA. You will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, EMEA.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) refers to companies that manufacture vehicles and purchase accessories or components to be integrated into their production, either as factory-installed or dealer-installed options. For RealTruck EMEA our existing customers in this segment are Toyota, Ford, Isuzu, and Volkswagen. Your key responsibilities and focus will be to manage these accounts and ensure that we meet their requirements in all respects while continuously looking for opportunities to grow the business by increasing sales of existing products and/or introducing new products and solutions in support of the customers’ needs. You will also be expected to identify and secure opportunities with potential new customers in the OEM segment within the region while supporting and coordinating with your counterparts in other regions where RealTruck is supplying OEM customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans tailored to OEM customers in EMEA
- Drive proactive customer engagement and build strong, trust-based partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and RFQs
- Lead the bidding process and manage customer contracts, including pricing
- Prepare sales budgets and monthly forecasts, and track performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments critical to providing 360 degree support to your customers
- Contribute to product development ideas and commercial business cases
- Represent RealTruck at key industry events and trade shows
Who You Are
You are a commercially sharp and results oriented sales professional who understands the dynamics of OEM sales – ideally within the automotive or automotive accessories industry. Furthermore, you have a strategic mindset and know how to turn insights into action and opportunities into long-term value.
Key Competencies
- Strong business acumen and analytical approach
- Confident relationship-builder with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with OEM customers in a B2B or B2B2C setup
- Ability to develop and deliver professional sales presentations
- Comfortable navigating technical discussions and specifications
- Skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint
- Structured, proactive, and self-motivated
Preferred background
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial/OEM sales role
- Automotive, Tier 1 supplier, or vehicle accessories industry experience
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements is a strong plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional EMEA languages are a bonus
