This role requires experience in leading a variety of group classes such as HIIT, functional training, and more low paced classes focused on body control and movement also including Pilates as well as Yoga.
Required Languages
Excellent knowledge of spoken English and good knowledge of written English.

Background
UN City Copenhagen consists of two campuses with a combined workforce of approximately 2,000 employees. Job Purpose and Organizational Context
The UN City Gym is a cornerstone of the UN City Health and Well-being services, offering over 25 weekly classes to more than 500 colleagues. We are currently seeking two fitness instructors to join our team.
Both instructors will be responsible for leading group fitness classes for small groups of approximately 10–12 participants, as well as offering personal training sessions based on member demand.
- One role is focused on fitness boxing, where the instructor will lead boxing-inspired classes. The ability to teach other formats is considered a plus.
- The second role involves teaching a variety of group training formats, ranging from high-intensity workouts to lower-intensity classes that emphasize body control and movement.
As an instructor, strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to engage with members in a personal yet professional manner are essential. The UN City Gym is defined by its non-intimidating and socially inclusive culture, and embracing this environment is key to success in the role.
You will be part of a team of five instructors, including the manager, covering a wide range of fitness disciplines such as Pilates, Yoga, HIIT, Strength Training, and Functional Training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead group fitness classes
- Offer personal training sessions based on member interest and demand
- Be available to work morning hours (7–9 AM) and evening hours (5–6 PM) as part of a flexible schedule
Institutional Arrangement
Under the supervision of the fitness manager, the fitness instructor will provide services ensuring high quality and accuracy of work.
