Protocol Stack Developer - for 5G/6G Satellite Communication

We're continuing to build our 5G team and are looking for a skilled and motivated Protocol Stack Developer to join our NB-IoT development team.

About the job

You will be part of the team responsible for designing and implementing the protocol stack for our NB-IoT NodeB, with a strong focus on standards compliance, performance, and reliability.

Your role will focus on:

  • Design & development of protocol stacks for NB-IoT, integrated into LTE/5G network architecture.
  • Implementation of efficient and robust communication flows across the RAN and core interfaces.
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of protocol behavior and performance.
  • Documentation and validation of protocol implementations.

Utilizing tools like Git and JIRA, you'll contribute to well-structured and efficiently planned projects.

About you

With an engineering background in electronics or embedded systems, your expertise may include:

  • Experience with 3G/LTE/5G protocols and architecture (e.g., RRC, PDCP, MAC).
  • Understanding of NB-IoT and 3GPP standards.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded systems development.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, and other relevant protocols.
  • Experience with development/deployment in Linux is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and in agile development teams.

Your self-driven nature, teamwork skills, and pioneering spirit are essential for developing new technologies from scratch. Experience in international collaborations and fluency in English will be advantageous.
