CCS Principal or Senior Production Technology Engineer

As part of our pioneering CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) initiative, we are looking for an experienced Production Technologist to help us unlock one of the most exciting and important energy challenges of our time.

Your impact

You will be the go-to expert for qualifying existing oil and gas wells for CO₂ injection, ensuring well integrity, and managing risks - while collaborating closely with authorities, engineers, and specialists across disciplines.

You will:

  • Lead the qualification process for existing wells for safe CO₂ injection.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between production technology, reservoir engineering, and geoscience teams.
  • Contribute to the evaluation, design, and planning of dedicated CO₂ injection wells.
  • Be a key voice in authority communications regarding well integrity and risk management.

About you

You are a self-driven team player who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges. You have a holistic, problem-solving mindset and enjoy bridging disciplines to get things done.

Your toolkit might include:

  • Industry experience in production technology.
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies (HAZOP, bowtie, ALARP).
  • Experience with software such as Prosper, Gap, Mbal, OLGA, Netool, WellCad.
  • Understanding of metallurgic aspects of well design and corrosion processes.
  • An engineering or science degree and a proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
