About the job
We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, including monthly accounts and liquidity management, as well as to plan, lead, and have a solid understanding of the entire year-end closing process.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Ensures accurate reconciliations and documentation in connection with monthly and annual closings
- Prepares and validates analyses, forecasts, and controlling for both the group and subsidiaries
- Responsible for cash flow management and cash operations across the group
- Develop variance analyses and ad hoc reports
- Participates in and drives budgeting processes, prepares process documentation, and optimizes workflows within the finance area
- Continuously develops and improves internal processes and participates in projects and ad hoc tasks
- Supports the business by providing data-driven insights
- Professional sparring partner in all matters related to the accounting process
- Handles VAT and tax reporting (submission and reconciliation of VAT)
Your profile

Ideally, you have 3-5 years of experience as Financial Controller, or a related field and your educational background could be economics, accounting, or finance (e.g. MSc in Auditing and Accounting, or HD – Graduate Diploma in Business Administration). You will be responsible for financial planning and ensure well-functioning financial processes and compliance with accounting standards. Therefore, you must have experience with end-to-end group ac- counting and possess strong accounting skills.

You will join our Finance team consisting of 4 people. The primary workplace is at our office in Give or Aarhus. You should expect to travel between these locations.
