Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to support the growth of our client base and market presence in the European region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our brand’s reach and driving sustainable revenue growth through our three businesses: Q Apartments (Denmark), Aeria Apartments (London), and Q Global Network, a global provider of corporate accommodation.

Our Business Development Manager will be based in Copenhagen at our Q Apartments office and will report to our Head of Global Sales based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify potential clients and new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Initiate contact with decision-makers via email, phone calls, and social media platforms.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings and managing the sales cycle from A-Z.
  • Attend European exhibitions, business events and conferences in view of generating new leads.

Client Engagement:

  • Present the company’s services and solutions in a clear, compelling manner tailored to the client's needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g: reservation, finance, operations, guest experience) to deliver tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Support the Global Sales team with local sales activities and Implementation of Global Accounts.

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies and campaign execution.
  • Provide feedback to leadership to inform service development and positioning.

Sales Reporting & CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate records in the HubSpot system, including contact information, meeting notes, and deal stages.
  • Track performance metrics (pipeline, conversion rates, outreach activity).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
  • Attend industry events or client meetings as needed to represent the brand and develop new contacts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence in speaking with senior decision-makers and building new relationships.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Danish and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous knowledge with HubSpot and Microsoft Office is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Tourism & Hospitality management or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate housing, real state, hospitality, travel agency management company, relocation management.
